Elvis Week
It's Elvis Week August 8-16 at the Graceland Mansion. Can't make it down? Well, you can check out some of Elvis movies...
Love Me Tender tells the story of the battling Reno brothers fight over a girl that Clint married when his brother was off fighting the Civil War
or
Clambake is the story of a wealthy oil heir who trades places with a water ski-instructor to see if girls will like him for himself, not his money
or
Viva Las Vegas where Elvis plays a down on his luck race car driver working as a waiter in Vegas to earn money for a new engine for his car.
On a recent road trip, I took a tour of Graceland. It is said to be the second most visited private residence, behind the White House.

The Wire
The show was created by David Simon. He wrote The Corner: A Year in the Life of an Inner-City Neighborhood which chronicles the experiences of a family over the course of a year to illustrate life in Baltimore's drug-racked inner-city
This highly realistic television series follows a single sprawling drug and murder investigation in Baltimore. Told from the point of view of both the police and their targets, where easy distinctions between good and evil are challenged at every turn.
