The Oscars are coming February 25th....
The Oscar nominations have been announced! Here are the nominees for Best motion picture of the year: BABEL, THE DEPARTED, LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, and THE QUEEN. Also, former American Idol, Jennifer Hudson, has been nominated for her role in Dream Girls.

Opera lovers...
Are “operatic diva� and “popular� oxymoronic terms? Just ask the devoted fans (not all opera buffs either!) about Russian superstar Anna Netrebko, whose voice has been described as “dark gold on velvet.� Her latest CD, Russian Album, is in the top ten on the German pop charts, and her popularity goes well beyond the European shores. Try some of her CDs owned by HCPL, including Violetta: Arias and Duets from Verdi’s La Traviata and Siempre Libera.
