Download author interviews starting March
This might be a fun activity for your book club if you can all get around a computer screen – maybe you even have access to a big screen that you can all view at once. I saw an article in Publishers Weekly of 1/30/08 announcing a forthcoming talk show, featuring authors, to be streamed on the web.
Titlepage will debut on March 3 and six episodes are planned. Daniel Menaker, former Editor-in-Chief of Random House, will host the show. The show will be streamed on http://www.titlepage.tv/ and available for download to various handhelds.
According to PW, “The shows, which are being co-produced by Menaker and Brown Hat Productions, plan to feature a wide range of writers--poets, novelists and journalists. The show will, it's founders hope, make literary dialog more accessible.
