    The Maryland State Library Resource Center has put together a series of tutorials for library customers to use during their job search. The tutorials help the customer prepare for their job search, covering such tasks as applying for an e-mail address, searching job Web sites and applying online for a job.

    Enoch Pratt Free Library - The Job and Career Information Center provides materials and services to individuals exploring careers or seeking jobs. Services provided include free resume reviews by appointment and workshops on job searching, interviewing, and résumé writing.

    A free learning site provided by Goodwill Community Foundation with a variety of tutorials from basic everyday activities to computer training to work & career resources.
  • Work Permit for Minors
    In Maryland, as a teen, (minor between the ages of 14 and 17), once you have been offered employment you are required to have a Minor Work Permit before you begin work. Teens cannot apply for a Work Permit until they have gotten a job offer. This is because the application for a Work Permit requires details from the employer, including the proposed occupation and work description.
