Winter Reading Program
Yes, it's that time of year again. The Winter Reading Program begins January 2nd. Designed for adults and teens, the program extends to early March. To register, sign up at any branch and receive a HCPL Winter Reading Program pen. To complete the program, adults read or listen to 5 or more books. High school teens must read at least 3 books. Complete and return a reading log to receive a special Winter Reading book journal.Need some ideas on what to read? Visit our Readers Place.
The Winter Reading Program is supported by the Friends of Harford County Public Library and the HCPL Foundation. Last day to turn in your completed logs is March 3rd.

Bel Air Branch Goes Wireless!
The Bel Air Branch has reopened after being closed for two weeks to upgrade both our system for checking out books and our telephones. But more importantly, we have added wireless access to the building. Let us know what you think! This service is free to the public. Happy surfing. We are looking forward to all of our branches to have wireless access by the middle of next year. Keep watching our Branches and Hours page for updates.
