Early Closure: On Friday, November 15th, starting at 3 PM, the Abingdon Library will be closing early for a private event.
The branch drive-thru will remain open until 5:00 PM.
Early Closure: On Wednesday, November 27th, all Harford County Public Library locations
will close early at 5 PM for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Holiday Closure: On Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th, all Harford County Public Library locations
will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day and the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Schooner Cove Closure: Beginning Monday, December 9th through Saturday, December 14th, the
Schooner Cove Wow Space at the Havre de Grace Library will be closed for refresh.
Holiday Closure: On Tuesday, December 24th, and Wednesday, December 25th, all Harford County Public Library locations
will be closed in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Early Closure: On Tuesday, December 31st, all Harford County Public Library locations
will close early at 5 PM for New Year's Eve.
Holiday Closure: On Wednesday, January 1st, all Harford County Public Library locations
will be closed in observance of New Year's Day.

SOCKTOBER

October 1 - 31

A countywide collection during October for new socks, hats, mittens, and gloves of all sizes, sponsored by Harford County Government, in partnership with Harford County Public Library. The donated items will be distributed to local individuals and families experiencing or on the brink of homelessness and to veteran organizations in the area.


HARFORD FAMILY HOUSE

November 1 - 30

Harford County Public Library is proud to serve as a collection site for Harford Family House during Homeless Awareness Month. Drop off much-needed supplies at any HCPL location.


EMPTY STOCKING FUND

November 6 - December 2

Harford County Public Library locations will once again serve as collection sites for the 2024 Empty Stocking Fund. Help make this year’s holidays a little brighter for those less fortunate by dropping off new, unwrapped toys and gift items at your local HCPL branch.
