Harford Historical Bulletin Subject Index

A subject index to the multivolume Harford Historical Bulletin (published by the Harford County Historical Society) provides a tool to researchers looking for people, places and events important to the history of Harford County. Copies of the individual issues are owned by the library.

Living Treasures Oral Histories

Over 300 oral histories have been collected from Harford County Living Treasures as recordings and transcripts of the interviews. These can be found in the catalog and browsed at the Bel Air Branch or sent to other libraries.

The State Archives serves as the central depository for government records of permanent value. It’s holds date from Maryland’s founding in 1634 and includes all relevant government documents and special collections of private papers, maps, etc.
