Over 300 oral histories have been collected from Harford County Living Treasures as recordings and transcripts of the interviews. These can be found in the catalog and browsed at the Bel Air Branch or sent to other libraries.
The Historical Society of Harford County is the oldest county historical society in Maryland. Online research is available for resources such as artifacts, cemetery records, court records, etc.

The State Archives serves as the central depository for government records of permanent value. It’s holds date from Maryland’s founding in 1634 and includes all relevant government documents and special collections of private papers, maps, etc.
