This fun and inspiring workshop brings the community together to create custom-designed costumes for children who use wheelchairs.
This one-of-a-kind experience provides an outstanding team-building opportunity for businesses, organizations, and volunteers.
This event is free for participants, thanks to the generous support of volunteers, sponsors, and community partners.
How It Works:
Two-Day Build Session (10/3 - 10/4): Volunteer teams collaborate to design and construct unique costumes that integrate seamlessly with the child's wheelchair.
Final Costume Fitting & Inclusive Trunk-or-Treat: Children are fitted into their newly crafted costumes and celebrate with a festive, accessible Trunk-or-Treat.
Bring the Halloween spirit to life by becoming a Trunk Host at the Inclusive Trunk-or-Treat event! As a trunk host, you'll decorate your vehicle's trunk in a fun, creative theme and hand out candy and treats to children of all abilities in a safe, welcoming environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, and community groups to get involved, spread joy, and make Halloween memorable for everyone.
