Indulge in a delicious array of mouthwatering, locally sourced "tastes," thoughtfully crafted by Harford County's most talented chefs. Each bite celebrates the flavors of the region, using the finest ingredients sourced directly from local farms. Pair your culinary experience with refreshing regional brews and velvety wines for a truly authentic taste of Harford County.

Stroll through a vibrant farmer’s market featuring fresh, high-quality produce and handmade goods proudly brought to you by local farmers and artisans. Immerse yourself in the rich talent of the community as live, local musicians fill the air with music, and skilled artisans showcase stunning art displays.

Tickets are $45 each, with proceeds directly supporting Harford County Public Library and its efforts to enhance programs and services that benefit the entire community. Please note that tickets are required for all attendees, including children, and are non-refundable.

Participate in the Taste of Harford

The Harford County Public Library Foundation invites you to join the 2nd Annual Taste of Harford on May 18, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at Vignon Manor Farm in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Building on last year’s success with over 450 attendees, we anticipate more guests celebrating our local treasures in 2025.

The Taste of Harford offers a unique opportunity to showcase your offerings, connect with the community, and support a meaningful cause - the Library’s programs and services, enriching lives across Harford County.

Participation as a “Taste Participant” is free for restaurants, breweries, wineries, and agricultural businesses. Vendors are asked to provide 500 2oz "tastes" featuring at least one local ingredient. All "tastes" are entered into the "Best Bite of Harford County" competition, with winners in multiple categories determined by popular vote. Winners will be announced in a press release following the event and receive a plaque recognizing their achievement.

Participants will also receive recognition in print, digital, and social media advertising, as well as event materials. Contributions, including the 500 "tastes" and any related expenses, are acknowledged as tax-deductible in-kind donations to the Library.

The Library will provide a serving table, linens, a handwashing station, and shared utensil washing facilities. An electricity hookup can be provided upon request, subject to availability.

Vendors Calling all artisans, authors, greenhouses, florists, farms, boutiques, and purveyors of unique treasures! The Taste of Harford, happening on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the stunning Vignon Manor Farm in Havre de Grace, MD, is the perfect opportunity to showcase your talents. This Buy-Local extravaganza celebrates the best Harford County has to offer. Featuring more than 40 restaurants, breweries, wineries, farms, artisans, authors, and boutiques, this event is a feast for the senses. Vendors may showcase and sell packaged, non-perishable food and non-food items while engaging with a large audience eager to support local businesses. Vendor spaces are $130 and include a 12 ft x 13 ft indoor space, two chairs, and two tasting tickets. Vendors must provide their own tables.
