Stroll through a vibrant farmer’s market featuring fresh, high-quality produce and handmade goods proudly brought to you by local farmers and artisans. Immerse yourself in the rich talent of the community as live, local musicians fill the air with music, and skilled artisans showcase stunning art displays. Tickets are $45 each, with proceeds directly supporting Harford County Public Library and its efforts to enhance programs and services that benefit the entire community. Please note that tickets are required for all attendees, including children, and are non-refundable. The Harford County Public Library Foundation invites you to join the 2nd Annual Taste of Harford on May 18, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at Vignon Manor Farm in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Building on last year’s success with over 450 attendees, we anticipate more guests celebrating our local treasures in 2025. The Taste of Harford offers a unique opportunity to showcase your offerings, connect with the community, and support a meaningful cause - the Library’s programs and services, enriching lives across Harford County. Participation as a “Taste Participant” is free for restaurants, breweries, wineries, and agricultural businesses. Vendors are asked to provide 500 2oz "tastes" featuring at least one local ingredient. All "tastes" are entered into the "Best Bite of Harford County" competition, with winners in multiple categories determined by popular vote. Winners will be announced in a press release following the event and receive a plaque recognizing their achievement. Participants will also receive recognition in print, digital, and social media advertising, as well as event materials. Contributions, including the 500 "tastes" and any related expenses, are acknowledged as tax-deductible in-kind donations to the Library. The Library will provide a serving table, linens, a handwashing station, and shared utensil washing facilities. An electricity hookup can be provided upon request, subject to availability. A Temporary Food Service License is required unless you hold a Harford County off-site catering license.
