Friends of Harford County Public Library

Used Book Sale Photo

Friends of Harford County Public Library are non-profit volunteer citizens groups in the community with a common concern for the library’s active expansion and participation in community life. They enrich the resources of the library by sponsoring book sales, fund-raising, and programming. There are eleven Friends of Harford County Public Library groups and each group advocates & raises funds on behalf of their specific branch.

Donations

The Friends accept donations for their book sales. Please contact your local branch for information about how to donate.

The Friends will accept books and media in good condition for resale. They are unable to accept items that are dirty, water damaged, or have mold. Please do not donate textbooks, encyclopedias, or media types that the library does not currently circulate (ex. Videocassettes, audiocassettes). The Friends of Harford County Public Library will be happy to provide a receipt for your donation.
