Starting Saturday, December 21, sign up for HCPL Winter Reading 2025! This year’s theme, Cozy Up with a Good Book, invites you to embrace the warmth and comfort of winter reading at your favorite HCPL location!

Created especially for adults and high school students in grades 9-12, Winter Reading runs from December 21, 2024, through March 19, 2025.

Participation is easy and fun! Adults need to read or listen to at least 5 books, and high school students need to read or listen to at least 3 books.

Complete this part of the reading challenge, and you’ll earn a FREE HCPL Winter Reading 2025 collector’s mug*. Mugs can be picked up at any HCPL location.

Additionally, join in our Winter Reading Bingo for a chance to win more! Bingo includes engaging activities and opportunities to support local businesses. Complete five activities in a column, row, or diagonally to get Bingo and you can pick up a special HCPL bookmark* at any HCPL location, starting Monday, January 6. You will also be entered to win a limited-edition Winter Reading tote bag*.
