Genealogy Week! Using Family Search-a FREE Genealogy Website

This program offers an overview of the features and resources available at FamilySearch.org. We’ll look at building one’s family tree, searching historical records, saving photos and other memories, and the unique live help services available from FamilySearch and its local affiliate libraries and centers. You can access Family Search from HCPL's webpage at https://hcplonline.org/genealogy.php

Presented by Dana Chou

Dana Chou has volunteered for the past six years as director of the FamilySearch Center in Baltimore City. Her own family lines touch China, the British Isles, and Sweden. She’s a long-time fan of mystery stories, which may be why she finds fun in untangling genealogy puzzles. Maryland family history is another favorite research area of hers.
